Wedding Coordinator And Designer
Collin was born in Healdsburg, CA and holds the record as the biggest baby born at the Healdsburg Hospital. Chances are high you will either find him hiking the coast, knee deep in his garden, or in search of the nearest antique store.
Collin has spent time as a farmer in the county working the land and feeding his community. He is also an artist, and works part time as a photographer. His work focuses on capturing moments as they are; untouched, raw still lifes. His eye for detail and curation is exercised daily in how the retail store is layed out, and the choices in products sold. His relationship to plants is nurtured by his selection of houseplants we carry, and his excitement in sharing any knowledge surrounding plant care with customers in the shop.
Some of Collin's favorite things include crosswords, cinnamon flavored teas, making kimchi, mushroom foraging, film photography, cooking any recipe by Carla Lalli Music, reading beside a large body of water, dancing, and being a mom to his friends - let that sink in.

Papillon is French for Butterfly
The transformation from caterpillar to butterfly is slow, patient, and natural — much like the process a flower undergoes from seed to bloom.
Our design philosophy is much informed by the patience and beauty of the natural world. We believe in art over assembly line — this guiding principal begins with our design style and extends throughout all aspects of our business.
We are a dedicated sustainable florist, using practices and materials that have a minimal impact on the environment. We are very lucky to be based in a county that boasts so many incredible local flower farms, of which we always prioritize over imported materials. Locally grown flowers feed the community — they attract important pollinators and they facilitate the livelihood of both farmers and designers, like us!
Founded in 2012 by owner Olivia Rivas, Papillon has metamorphosed many times from our first shop on South A Street, to an expanded store in Railroad Square, and now to our private studio in Windsor. We are eager to see what comes our way next!
Papillon is a Latina-owned business with a talented staff of artists. Our goal is to always create a safe and welcoming space for people of marginalized identities. We offer inclusive and affirming wedding services to couples of all identities, and want you to know that you're always welcome & wanted here.

Founder and Owner
Olivia, founder of Papillon Floral, was born & raised in Sonoma County. She worked in graphic design, marketing, and executive assistance before deciding to pursue the path of floral design.
In 2012 Olivia created Papillon Floral so that people in search of flowers could have a choice that is both local/sustainable as well as designed with care, artistry, and utmost intention. When opening a storefront, she was careful to source quality products from artisans she believes in that reflect these values. And so Papillon Floral was born!
Olivia loves vintage records, soul music, 80's nostalgia, French croissants, good clogs, Mexico, and her chihuahua Bella.

Lead Floral Designer
Kaity has lived in California all her life and moved to Sonoma county for school and the lovely weather. Art has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember, and when she went to college she knew she'd be unhappy studying anything else. She went to Sonoma State and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking with an emphasis in lithography.
Becoming a florist has allowed Kaity the rarest of things: to be creative in her job. Every day she loves exploring form, function, color, and beauty with flowers as her medium - and she brings this discerning eye to every floral arrangement she creates at Papillon!
Kaity likes to spend her free time with her husband, exercising, gardening, and making pottery.
